Poetry Collections
Poets, such as you, can create a collection of their works in a word processor, such as MS Word, save the document and use pdf Online to convert it to pdf format. A pdf file is half the file size, can be accessed with a free Adobe Acrobat reader and is an easy way to distribute your works to interested readers. Over in the sidebar is information on sharing available poetry collections.

Once again, I want to thank you for the inspiration. I found this one extra challenging, & my husband and I actually got into a bit of an argument over the meaning of Horse. But it all worked out okay in the end. :)
A Horse Of A Different Color
I didn't follow the prompt this week, but I have two new poems to share:

Happy Thursday, everyone!
Good things happen in Omaha, I guess! I thought of a "...different color" theme but it was the pretext for the prompt that grabbed my attention: straightforward view of the ordinary. That and irony.
I pulled up one I'd written in 2002 which included a reference to my horse. I love Kooser!

Is this the right place for Horse poemtypeprosey thing. I didn't even know there was a prompt for Horse and wrote by synchronicity alone a piece called Horses and then popped by and saw a prompt for Horses so that just proves the world is indeed a wondrous place full of miracles and mysteries.

I was caught by the first line:

and so time and personal history worked its way into my short poem this week.
The closest to horse I could get was cat. The late Dave, in fact.
I like Kooser, too. I read his "The Poetry Home Repair Manual" recently. Recommended rading.
