Well, TOPers, what'd we have to say to our local papers this week? If you actually sent a letter, let us know in the comments. (I didn't, mine was just too silly.)

I've posted a link to Watermark's New Year Haiku Collaborative Poem Dance, which will be open for additions until the end of the week.
I sent 'WASL' to the Aberdeen Daily World and 'Government Spending' to the Seattle PI. Mine were more verse than poetry but I enjoyed doing them and am likely to do it again.
I loved this prompt. Thanks for the idea.
I haven't emailed it in yet. But I will.
I didn't email my poem either.
My other letter to the editor of The New Verse News: NOT TOO LATE FOR COMMUTATION "with news that stays news"
Well, since I actually am the editor of a local publication, I am including a link to my most current editorial note. This is the one which is in the current issue of PDX Magazine.
Link to that here:

And, a link to my most current poem:

Mine didn't go to the editor, except in my mind.
