It's time to throw your hat in the ring, and see what the other poets have on their minds. The Linky widget included with this posting is a fine way to leave a link to your poem inspired by the 'Romance' prompt, or any other poem you want to share. Comments are available if Linky doesn't work for you, or you want to add encouraging remarks, or any other remarks.
Saturday night I'll put up the next Totally Optional Prompt. And, thanks for your support.

Romance -- A Foreign Concept?
The emptiness of romaontic gestures: http://foundcraftygreenart.blogspot.com/2006/08/bouquet.html
These are a couple romantic poems I've written, one very recently, and the other last year. Thought I'd post these while I go off and write another.
Here you go -- "Transcendent" (poem & collage) are brand new. created for this prompt.
A poem about my wife's low blood sugars.
this is an anti-romance poem, hope that's ok. it was written after a very unromantic argument, wherein i went to a writer's workshop and received the prompt, "write a lie."
Guts
My poems this week are not directly related to romance, except for the fact that I wrote them last week when my wife and I were on vacation to celebrate our anniversary. Enjoy!
A sentence and a poem - this topic is my short suit...:)
This is the first time I've written a poem using your prompts, thanks for the inspiraton.
It took me a few days to get through everyone's entries but I got there eventually, and there's some great stuff there.
Congrats everyone.
Romantic Poems are my specialty :)
i wrote an italian sonnet and it just happened to fit the bill for the prompt.
Insatiable
Romantic or not? Heart-felt it is. Here's my contribution - For Soni
for whatever reason i read that the prompt was a "free" prompt. obviously, i was wrong. if you could remove the links for "diatribalArts" it would be much appreciated.
