Three flower poems, writing *as* a flower!
Mine wasn't written for this prompt but since I had just posted it on my site and I have been otherwise pretty quiet this summer, I thought I would send it along. Of course there is a little science lesson with it so read the commentary.

I'm getting ready for a trip, so I'm late in posing stuff everywhere, but I've thrown my hat in the ring. :)
I am becoming a digital camera fanatic. Even though most days recently have been grey, windy and rainy, I have managed to slip in some pics of winter flowerings in Australia.
Waiting is 'the pits'.
Meanwhile, the apricot sapling

Rising from the compost bed.
