July 12, 02008 -- REVISED
It's not a Ghazal. But I may try one later in the week.
I love ghazals - here's my latest:

Thanks for the exercise and inspiration.
I struggled a bit with the form but enjoyed the exercise - In the end I still didn't get it quite right but I will try again another day. Thanks for the prompt. here's mine:http://sewina.blogspot.com/2008/07/kiss-caroline-sent-me-little-kiss.html
THis was a challenge to me, but for what t's worth.
Thanks for a prompt that spoke to my heart.
Not sure if I got this right or not.
For the ones I love
I had fun with this and will definitely try it again. Next time I want to try to add the "rhyme" before the "repeat" (sorry my brain can't recall the terms in this forms today!)
I didn't get a chance to try the Ghazal but thanks for introducing me to the form - I'll have to try one later.
My first ghazal: dancing
you get pictures. i was confused on what this poem style was. and i'm in florida... so you get some pictures of the gorgeous sunset i saw. to clarify, the top two are with the flash on, and the bottom one is with the flash off.
cheers
Sorry, hit 'enter' before putting in my URL! Two ghazals I wrote earlier...
I puzzled over the ghazal and posted an older poem plus a link for a fun word site and an older watercolor.
Poem and a Word
I really really wanted to write a happy poem this week. But when I tried to write a ghazal, I just found it tooo difficult. If nothing else, it was a good exercise in a new style (for me at least) of poetry.

ghazals are a wonderful form to have discovered and participated in creating... it was worthy of the struggle to find a way through... blank
